Major Charles Leroy Thomas born April 17, 1920 was a United States Army officer who in his past life was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his actions while a company commander during the capture of Climbach, France in 1944, which made him the second African American to be awarded one during World War II. He was in for a shock at the arrival of Gable and his evil experimental soldiers whose mission was to kill him so he would not be able to carry out the mission to shut down one of his hidden labs.
